Xbox Live Games with Gold for March 2019
Xbox’s Games with Gold is back with another four games. This month they have games for the family with a little something for everyone in your house. The free games will start flowing on March 1st, but dates will vary for each title.
Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion
(March 1st-31st)
Play as Finn, Jake, BMO, or Marceline to save the Land of Ooo. Everything is underwater and battle pirates to find out what started the flood. Interact with all of your favorite Adventure Time characters like Lumpy Princess, Ice King, and Princess Bubblegum on your quest to understand the mystery of the flood.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
(March 16th - April 15th)
The first person shooter for everyone alive and dead, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has you taking control of different classes of plants or zombies to take over the suburbs. The game has up to 24 players in a team battle, or you can play in 4 player co-op in online multiplayer modes. Play locally with split screen or take on the CPU in solo mode. Enter the Backyard Battleground to take on daily quests and challenges with a team of 3 players. Garden Warfare 2 is filled with things to do by yourself or with your closest friends.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 initially launched in February 2016.
Star Wars Republic Commando (March 1st - 15th)
Become a squad leader for the Republic and eliminate the enemy in first-person combat. Command your team and infiltrate bases to rid the world of the Empire. The story takes place during the infamous Clone Wars with you leading a team of clones. Star Wars Republic Commando is a first-person shooter filled with tactical moments. The player controls a Clone named Delta-38, or “Boss” of Delta Squad. The three other members on your team, Scorch, Fixer, and Sev are NPCs that move with your instructions.
Star Wars was developed for the original Xbox and is playable through backward compatibility since April 2018.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (March 16th - 31st)
A spin-off of the legendary Metal Gear Series, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance stars Raiden, a cybernetic ninja. Four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4, Raiden is on a mission of revenge against the private military, Desperado Enforcement. In-game combat is Katana based, but players can also use stealth to complete tasks.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance came out in May 2013.
March's Games with Gold has everything from cute combat to sword slashing. Remember to add these games to your library before there oddly timed windows are closed.
