Wit Studio & OLM Are Teaming Up To Make The Next Pokémon Movie

Do you like Pokémon? Of course you do, you're a human being checking out a nerdy website. What about Attack on Titan? While not the worldwide phenomonon that Pokémon was, its still pretty dang popular, so chances are good that even if you're not a fan, you're familiar.
If you're a fan of both, you're in luck! Wit Studio, the animators best-known for the gruesome series about mean-eating giants, is partnering with OLM (Oriental Light & Magic) to create a brand new Pokémon movie! While Wit Studio has worked on Pokémon products before, this is the first time that they'll be a primary credit.
The teaser trailer for the movie was just released this December. It doesn't tell us much, but we do know a few things. First, the movie will include a new character with some serious hair dye game. Second, it's coming out it's coming out on July 13 2018. While there's no title or official summary, the teaser features the phrase "everyone's story begins..." which is just vague enough to be provocative.
The movie won't likely bring Wit Studio's signature gore to the table - it is a children's movie, after all. Still, it will be interesting to see how Wit Studio's involvement impacts the final product.
