Persona 5: The Phantom X Smartphone Game

The Persona 5: The Phantom X smartphone game is being created by the Chinese business Perfect World, according to the Persona franchise's official website, which made the announcement on Friday. Although there may be optional in-game purchases, the RPG will be free to play. Both iOS and Android will be able to play the game.

The game's release location is still up in the air, according to Atlus and Sega, even in Japan.

In September 2016, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of the first Persona 5 game were released in Japan. After a delay, the game was released in North America in April 2017. Production I.G.'s animations can be seen in the game.

The game's 26-episode television anime adaptation debuted in April 2018 and ran through September 2018. As the show was airing, Aniplex of America streamed it on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Then, in December 2018 and March 2019, two specials were broadcast.

In Japan, Persona 5 Royal (known as Persona 5 The Royale in that country) was released in October 2019. In March 2020, the game debuted in the Americas and Europe.

In February 2020, the action role-playing game Persona 5 Strikers (Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers) was made available in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. In the West, the game debuted for PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam in February 2021.
