One Piece 1st New Episode Airs After Toei Hack

On Wednesday, the official Twitter account for the One Piece anime revealed that the series will resume on April 17 with the 1,014th episode. The episode will be the anime's first new episode in six weeks and the first since the Toei Animation hack last month, which damaged other works as well. (The most recent new episode was on March 6.)
Since the hack, the anime has been running reruns or recap episodes, and a "Wano Country Best Selection" recap episode will be broadcast this coming Sunday.
On March 11, Toei Animation revealed that on March 6, an unauthorized third party gained access to the company's network, causing some of the company's systems to be shut down. Toei Animation is presently looking into the situation. The One Piece, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, Delicious Party Precure, and Digimon Ghost Game anime series, as well as the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero anime film, were all damaged by the hack.
On March 13, TV Asahi was supposed to screen episode 6 of Delicious Party Precure, however owing to the hack, the channel instead showed episode 4 of the show. Instead of showing fresh episodes of the anime, TV Asahi showed Hugtto! Precure Futari wa Precure All Stars Memories in three parts on March 20, March 27, and April 3.
On March 20, Fuji TV aired a rebroadcast of the first episode of Digimon Ghost Game, and the station has since shown more "Digimon Ghost Game Selection" rerun episodes.
Due to the Toei Animation hack, new episodes of the Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai anime were not shown on TV Tokyo on March 12, March 19, March 26, and April 2.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the second anime film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise, has been postponed indefinitely in Japan, where it was scheduled to debut on April 22.
