Nintendo Games are getting Free Updates for Labo VR Support

Nintendo Labo: VR Kit is still days away, and we already have other games to try with Nintendo’s VR. Announced through their Twitter account, Nintendo has revealed that VR functionality is coming to Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Both games will be receiving a free VR update on April 25th.
Each game will have new things to do while using the Toy-Con VR goggles that will come in the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit. Super Mario Odyssey is getting an all-new “bite-size” experience. The free update will take us back to Seaside and the Luncheon Kingdoms in three special stages featuring our friends Mario and Cappy.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the other title to get a free VR compatible update. Once you have set up your Nintendo Labo: VR Kit, go into Breath of the Wild, and in the settings menu, you can enable the VR functionality. You will then be able to play through the game from an entirely new angle and explore Hyrule like never before.
These all new experiences will be free for everyone who already owns Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild base games. Gamers will still have to purchase either the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit starter bundle or the Complete VR bundle to get the Toy-Con VR Goggles. The goggles are necessary to experience these free VR updates for both games.
