Nintendo Direct, and all that Jazz!

Fire Emblem Engage

The anime war simulator series Fire Emblem is returning, and the newest installment will feature a grid-based tactics game. The protagonist may summon more senior characters like Marth and Sigurd using what looks to be a brand-new summoning method. The publication date is January 20, 2023.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

More gameplay snippets from the eagerly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel were eventually shown by Nintendo. Climbing will return, and Link will be using a glider to go about the game. On May 12, 2023, we'll finally learn what the hieroglyphics are all about.

It Takes Two

You'll want at least one more person to complete the co-op adventure on the Switch. You can preorder the game right now, though it won't be available until November 4.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

The Wii survival horror game is now available in English for the first time after never being released outside of Japan. Early in 2023, Fatal Frame will be made available.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

One of the most popular RPGS in 2022 is getting new material. The second wave of the Xenoblade 3 expansion pass will include Ino, who adds unique mechanical powers to the cast. Players will be able to engage in repeated combat with foes thanks to new challenge bouts. On October 13, this update will be made accessible.

Pikmin 4

Nintendo promises that Pikmin 4 will be easier to play, and will have a strategic focus. The latest entry of the Pikmin series is coming in 2023.

Just Dance 2023

Ubisoft’s annual dance game will feature a multiplayer mode, a song recommendation feature, and custom avatars. The game will be coming on November 22.

Bayonetta 3

Luka, Jeanne, and Viola will accompany Bayonetta on her quest as she battles homunculi, bioweapons, in the most recent episode of the series. Additionally, Platinum Games announced that the game has a modesty option that enables users to conceal their bare bodies. On October 28, you'll be able to save the planet alongside her.

Resident Evil Cloud

For October 28, Resident Evil Village will be released on the Nintendo Switch for those of you who still can't get enough of Lady Dimitrescu chasing you around. On December 2, a winter expansion with additional story material and a third-person mode will be accessible. All three Resident Evil Biohazard games will be released this year.

Sifu

You may now parry your way through this fighting game for a second time since Sloclap's kung-fu game has finally broken free from PlayStation exclusivity. As of November 8, Sifu will be accessible.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

With the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy Reunion, the precursor to Final Fantasy VII, Gongaga's own Zack Fair will receive a remake. Zack looks into a puzzling case of missing Soldier agents with the aid of his first-class comrades Angeal, Sephiroth, and the poetry-reading Genesis. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy Reunion, which has been reimagined with HD visuals, will debut on the Nintendo Switch on December 13.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered

Bandai Namco's Tales of Symphonia is being reworked for the Nintendo Switch for fans of vintage action RPGs. Tales of Symphonia, which debuted on the GameCube in 2003, follows Lloyd Irving and Colette Brunel, his closest friend from childhood and the chosen one, as they travel the world to save their world from destruction. Early in 2023 is when Tales of Symphonia will be available for the Nintendo Switch.

Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection

The Nintendo Switch is being transported through time by Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection. You take on the role of Max Caulfield, a photojournalist with mystical time-travel abilities. Max needs Chloe Price's assistance to stop a devastating storm from destroying the community of Arcadia Bay. Both Life is Strange Remastered and its prequel spin-off, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which takes place three years before the events of the original game, are included in the Arcadia Bay Collection. On September 27, Life is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection will be made available for the Nintendo Switch.

Disney Speedstorm

This racing game will feature both Disney and Pixar characters from the animated movies. Speedstorm comes out sometime this year.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe

The 2011 Wii predecessor of Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe has been upgraded for contemporary technology. A mecha copy feature that lets Kirby fire or strikes his adversaries up close is what makes this transfer new. A total of four players can participate in Dream Land. On February 24, 2023, the game will be released.

OddBallers

The multiplayer dodgeball game OddBallers was promoted as having crazy twists. When the game launches on the Switch early in the next year, we'll see just how absurd it is.

Front Mission 1 and 2

For those of you who possess an excessive amount of Gunpla, there is great news: Front Missions 1 and 2 allow you to modify mechs. In November, Square Enix will release these turn-based tactical games on the Switch. The third game in the series will debut at some point after the 2023 release of Front Mission 2.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

Contrary to the first Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, it appears that most of the characters—not just your child—will experience physical aging. Even if you completed the original GameCube game, you wouldn't have seen everything, since the teaser hinted at certain plot content that is exclusive to the transfer. The game will be released in the 2023 summer.

Octopath Traveler II

The Octopath Traveler 2 will feature eight brand-new travelers. It seems that the upcoming game's setting will be the industrial age. The overworld features varied overworld activities during the day and night, which are often overworld acts like stealing, challenging, or buying. Some travelers' stories will cross paths, in contrast to the first Octopath when tasks were kept apart. The follow-up will be made available on February 24, 2023.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Even while the idea of mixing Mario characters with Rabbids may still seem strange to some, we thought its predecessor Kingdom Battle was a cute and entertaining strategy game that didn't linger too long. On October 20, Ubisoft and Nintendo's turn-based partnership will be available. Additionally, a Gold Edition with a skin and a season pass will be available.

Rune Factory 3 Special

I'm just as eager to play Special on the Switch even though the original Rune Factory 3 for the Nintendo DS was published more than ten years ago. For gamers who choose to get married, this farming simulator with monster combat features will add more plot events, and the locals will respond differently to your metamorphosis into a monster. In 2023, RF3 Special will be released. The Rune Factory series' newest installment was also hinted to in the teaser.

Various Daylife

Square Enix is releasing yet another RPG on the Switch. Various Daylife will be available today.

Ib

In Ib, you take on the role of a small child who, while visiting an art gallery with her parents, becomes caught up in a nightmare-like version of the galla. You must look for assistance in this 2D pixel art horror game while avoiding the museum's lethal traps and malicious creatures that want to do you harm. In the spring of 2023, Ib is expected to be released for Nintendo Switch.

Mario Strikers: Battle League

A second free update is coming to Nintendo’s soccer game, and Pauline and Diddy Kong are joining the roster. The update will be available later this month.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key

Atelier: The Japanese RPGs featured in today's Nintendo Direct continued on going with the introduction of Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, a brand-new installment in the Atelier Ryza series. Ryza, together with her pals, examines the enigmatic islands that are popping up all over the planet, as shown in the first teaser. On February 24, 2023, Atelier Ryza 3 is planned for release on the Nintendo Switch.

Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake

The Cosmic Shake is a platformer that features 7 different areas, and the characters will be voiced by their original voice actors. The game will be coming out next year
