Gundam SEED FREEDOM Anime Film's English-Subtitled

The movie is being directed by Mobile Suit Gundam Seed director Mitsuo Fukuda at Bandai Namco Filmworks. Along with Liu Goto and his late wife Chiaki Morosawa, Fukuda also contributed to the script's writing. The characters are being created by Mobile Suit Gundam Seed's Hisashi Hirai.

The movie is scheduled for release during the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2024, as Bandai Namco previously disclosed.

The Mobile Suit Gundam Seed production ignited initiative, which was unveiled in 2021, includes the movie production. The project, which contains numerous components, is meant to honor the original Mobile Suit Gundam Seed anime's 20th anniversary in 2022. The program also includes the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Eclipse side-story manga and a new Mobile Suit Gundam Seed video game.

The second Gundam Seed television anime, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, is a direct sequel to the movie, according to Mobile Suit Gundam Seed director Mitsuo Fukuda.

In the years 2002 to 2003, the original Mobile Suit Gundam Seed television anime aired, then in the years 2004 to 2005, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. In 2006, the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed C.E.73: Stargazer was released in three parts. The next movie was revealed during the Sony Music Anime Festival '06 in May 2006.
