DanMachi Season 2 Announced

One of the greatest things that always astounded me was the fact there was never a DanMachi season two; Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? was one of my favorite series and it broke my heart not seeing it continue immediately with a genuine second season. Now 2015 Ashley can finally rest in peace as the next installment has just been announced!

The trailer dropped on the official site, prompting a huge fan response. After all, who hasn't been excited to see more cute girls that kick ass? Oh, and Bell is there too. It looks like there will also be a handful of new characters we've never met before, all played by popular voice actors that have made appearances in shows like Attack on Titan and Overlord.

While the original anime series ended in 2015, there was a technical continuation with a 12 episode spin off series based on the light novel, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Sword Oratoria. As with most spin offs, this didn't really continue the story so much as add on information to the world. Centered around the story of the Loki Familia, the plot took place in the same timeline as the original series, overlapping events and adding a new perspective. While it was certainly an interesting story, we're well overdo for a continuation to the classic.
