DanMachi Is Definitely Hyping Up Fans

Any good senpai should know the title Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon, otherwise known as DanMachi. Back in March, we told you that season two of the hit anime series would be coming back with a new trailer to prove it. If you haven't seen it, now's your chance:

However, DanMachi has been making some incredible strives since then. Recently its light novel serialization hit the 12 million mark in sales since its release date in 2013. According to Crunchyroll News, the light novel had hit 10 million back in October of 2018, with part of the increase in sales due to its feature film debut, Arrow of the Orion. To see it grow so much in such a short amount of time is nothing short of amazing. If you think that isn't enough, the 15th novel will be dropping on June 14, 2019.

Not only is the creator, Fujino Omori, having a great time with the book sales, BOOK☆WALKER has also recently been announced that he will be attending Anime Expo 2019 as a special guest. BOOK☆WALKER will be partnering with Sentai Filmworks to host an season 2 premiere viewing on Friday July 5, where Omori will be attending to celebrate with fans.

If you were on the fence about going to Anime Expo this year, this should be the push to get you going. DanMachi certainly has achieved some massive accomplishments as a series and it's incredibly exciting to see it come back into the world of anime. John Ledford, CEO of Sentai Filmworks, had quite a few things to say about this series incredible comeback.

“When we launched the original series, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, to anime fans in 2015, we knew it was going to be tremendous pop culture force because of its unique mix of irreverence, lovable, relatable characters and fantastic story-telling,” said Ledford. “Audiences have been clamoring for a thrilling, direct follow-up ever since and the new series won't disappoint.”

If you haven't already, you definitely need to add DanMachi to your list of anime series to watch. Check it out on Crunchyroll!
